Adam Sturdevant started the fire service in the Katy area in 1999. Adam entered the Houston Fire Department (HFD) in 2003 and currently holds the rank of Firefighter with HFD. In 2008, Adam was hired by HCESD 48 as an additional Maintenance Technician.

Adam has certifications with the ASE for Automobile Technician, career diploma for Automotive Mechanics, and factory training certificates for maintenance and repair of Pierce fire apparatus.
