Jean Burg has worked in the fire service since November 2014. She began as a volunteer with the Rehab Unit. Jean assists District members and new volunteer cadets with their training needs. Jean also works with the District administrative staff and handles special projects assigned to her from Command Staff.

Jean has been married to her husband, Michael, for 37 years. They have two grown daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandson. Jean truly enjoys her work at Harris County ESD 48 and finds it to be a very fulfilling and rewarding experience.
