Joe Casciotti began his career in Fire/EMS at the age of 15 as a junior firefighter in Schnecksville, PA. He obtained his EMT certification in 1994 and his Paramedic certification in 1997. He worked as a Paramedic for various EMS services in the Eastern PA EMS Council region over several years before attending St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Bethlehem, PA.
Joe graduated with his Diploma in Nursing in 2011 and obtained his RN license in 2012. He worked at various campuses in the St. Luke’s Health Network in both the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. In early 2014, Joe accepted a Flight Nurse position with Memorial Hermann Life Flight and moved from PA to Katy. He joined HCESD 48 as a part-time Paramedic in January 2018 and was hired full-time as the Community Health Paramedic in September 2018. He was promoted to Battalion Chief of Community Medicine in January 2020.
Joe is a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), certified by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing. He is also a Certified Community Paramedic (CP-C) and licensed Registered Nurse, Paramedic and Community Health Worker in the State of Texas.
Joe completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in early 2019 and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Family Nurse Practitioner Program at UT Health Sciences Cizik School of Nursing.
