Philip Dickinson has been in the fire service since 1990 where he began as Volunteer firefighter for the City of Bellaire. He was hired full-time in 1994 and worked his way up the ranks to the position of Commander where he still serves today.

Philip moved his family to Katy in 2000. He joined the West I-10 Fire Department as a part-time (duty crew) firefighter in 2002 and worked as a Lieutenant until the change to Harris County ESD 48 Fire Department where he continues to serve.

Philip enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two sons. He volunteers in his spare time with the American Cancer Society by driving patients to their treatment appointments.
